InternetNZ are hosting an open-invite screening of the “Net of Rights” documentary, followed by a round table discussion on the relationship between the Internet and human rights with our international guest Niels ten Oever, from Article 19, an international organisation working on the promotion of freedom of expression and freedom of information worldwide.
Net of Rights is a short documentary that explores the relationship between Internet protocols and the promotion and protection of Human Rights on the Internet. Niels ten Oever will host the round table, where participants are invited to reflect on the documentary and discuss the relationship between humans rights and the Internet. Light lunch will be served.
