New Zealanders were asked 'how often do you access the Internet in each of the following places — at home, at work and using public wifi?' The graph shows the average weekly use over all three areas. The average weekly use for 2022, 2021 and 2020 is 13.1, 12.5 and 13.0 respectively.
At home
New Zealanders were asked 'how often do you access the Internet at home?' What the Internet is being used for
Some of the tasks we use the Internet for have remained pretty consistent over the last four years. However, 2022 saw a spike in New Zealanders finding a job online.
