Commercial team grows at InternetNZ
David Morrison •
Back in June I wrote about the process we are developing here at InternetNZ to explore new products to help New Zealanders harness the power of the Internet. To do this job well we need a diverse, skilled team that holds the customer central to their thinking and practice.
I am excited to share that we have two new team members joining InternetNZ to help grow and diversify the revenues that enable InternetNZ to strengthen its charitable goals for an Internet that is open, secure and trusted and for all New Zealanders.
Terence Hibbert - Business Development Manager
We welcome Terence to InternetNZ in a dedicated sales role covering our suite of products in the .nz domain name space, National Broadband Map and new, soon to launch services. Terence joins us with a wealth of experience across the IT sector in New Zealand. He also seems to know everyone we bump into on the street!
Terence will be leading our efforts to sell new products into both existing and new channels across New Zealand. As such he will be a very visible member of our team in various realms of the tech sector in New Zealand.
Cam Findlay - Product Manager
In late August Cam joins us as Product Manager charged with helping explore, launch and evolve new products for InternetNZ. Currently at the Department of Internal Affairs as Product Lead for data.govt.nz and having held roles at LINZ and SilverStripe, Cam brings a fantastic depth of knowledge in the areas of open data, open-source and product development.
Initially, Cam will be helping launch a new service later this year along with applying a consistent product management discipline to our existing work. Product management does not take place in a vacuum and as such our customers can expect to hear from Cam as he seeks insights and feedback to improve what we do.
