Since 1998, InternetNZ | Ipurangi Aotearoa has been recognising members of the New Zealand Internet community with fellowships. These are awarded to those who have made a particular contribution to the development of the Internet in New Zealand or to the Society.
At the 2024 AGM on 25 July, we had the pleasure of announcing Chris Streatfield as our new Fellow.
Chris was an InternetNZ councillor for many years, during which time he worked tirelessly for little reward or acknowledgement. During this time, Chris was driven by his strong principles and his belief in the power of the Internet as a force for good. Because of his focus on good governance, by the end of his tenure, Chris was the keeper of the institutional memory and principles on which InternetNZ was founded.
The full list of Fellows is in the membership section of our website.
