Successful initiatives of the one-off fund to build resilience to disinformation (Phase 1)
InternetNZ partnered with The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet to administer a one-off fund to build resilience against disinformation domestically.
We had a lot of high-quality interest in this fund, which illustrates the need to support those working in this challenging space.
We’re aware that some people who work in this space receive harmful and hurtful content online. To ensure the wellbeing and safety of our funding recipients, we will not be naming specific grantees by name or organisation. This is also in line with the approach taken for the Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Fund (PCVEF).

Applications for this fund are being assessed in two phases. Phase 1 is complete and the successful projects are displayed above. Applications for Phase 2 of the fund are currently being reviewed and the initiatives will be announced in early 2024.
