Internet insights research out now
Our new research is now out! It outlines how New Zealanders use the Internet, what we think the benefits are, and what our greatest concerns are.
This year's research reveals which groups in Aotearoa are much more concerned than others about certain aspects of the Internet. It also highlights that we are not seeing improvement in some areas of long-term concern, like children accessing harmful content.
It shows a jump in the number of people worried about wrong and misleading information online, with 65% very or extremely concerned.
The research also includes new and interesting stats about our attitudes to Artificial Intelligence, showing that 42% of people are more concerned than excited about the evolving technology. A new addition to the research, this is the first time we’ve published stats on this topic.
